Tom Siver is a Michigan attorney who has dedicated his career to the careful, disciplined practice of law. Since being admitted to the State Bar of Michigan in 2006, Tom has represented individuals in complex legal matters where fairness, preparation, and constitutional protections matter most.
Tom is running for District Court Judge because he believes the people who come before the court deserve a judge who applies the law as written, exercises sound judgment, and respects the proper role of the judiciary.

Tom has built his legal career handling challenging cases that require a strong command of the law, focus, and persistence. His experience spans both criminal and civil matters, often involving high-conflict situations where the consequences are significant and immediate.

Why District Court?
Tom chose to run for District Court Judge intentionally.
District Court is often the first point of contact people have with the justice system. Decisions are made quickly, and the impact on individuals and the community is immediate. Tom believes this court requires judges who are prepared, restrained, and committed to applying the law consistently and fairly.
For Tom, serving in District Court means:
